Meet William Anderson+
Growing up in the forests of Canada, William Anderson developed an interest in construction and infrastructure from an early age. Living in remote communities provided first-hand exposure to the practical realities of building and maintaining critical infrastructure in challenging environments. At the same time, a family cabin powered entirely by solar energy offered an early glimpse into the potential of renewable technologies and the role energy plays in supporting communities.
Those experiences sparked a lasting interest in how infrastructure, engineering, and energy projects can create lasting value for people and regions.
Over the past 15 years, William has worked across Europe, Australia, and North America, supporting the development and delivery of major infrastructure and renewable energy projects. His experience spans utility-scale wind farms, solar developments, battery energy storage systems (BESS), roads, bridges, civil works, pipelines, and other critical infrastructure projects.
Having worked across project development, procurement, commercial management, project controls, and construction delivery, William brings a broad perspective combined with a practical, hands-on approach. He is known for helping clients navigate complexity, manage risk, solve problems, and successfully move projects from concept through to operation.
Today, through WPA Infrastructure Management & Consulting, William works with developers, investors, contractors, and asset owners to provide straightforward advice, dependable leadership, and delivery-focused support on complex projects.
